Would you ever consider having romantic experiences with someone of the same gender, even if you're straight?

I've definitely had moments where I felt like I'd be down to try dating girls sometimes as a gay boy, so sometimes I wonder if straight boys feel similarly. I often fall in love with straight men, so it ends up being very frustrating when I get involved and figure out all my affection means nothing. :/
