Will new england be safe?

I live in an extremely liberal state, to the point where I was able to get on hrt at 16 with informed consent and also I've literally met nobody who is transphobic, even the very old and otherwise conservative people like my grandma are cool with it. We're also a sanctuary state. Will it be safe? If no, where do I go?
