As a trans man, I’ve earned the privilege of being able to go shirtless in public without facing judgment or stigma. But I choose not to. Why?
Because it doesn’t feel right to enjoy a freedom that so many others, especially women and femmes, are denied. It’s unfair that society sexualizes some bodies while allowing others to exist freely.
I don’t do shirtless in public because I want to fight for a world where everyone has the same right to feel comfortable and unjudged in their own skin. It’s not just about my freedom—it’s about everyone’s freedom.
