Best low $ spots

My BF and I are second semester seniors at UT and decided to try a new restaurant every week until we graduate. What place(s) would you consider a must try? We want to keep it cheaper (as we’re in school still) but wouldn’t mind something more expensive if it’s absolutely spectacular. TYIA!
