Aape Jeans ripped after 2 weeks

Hey guys, just got back from Tokyo which is where I bought these jeans. Once I came back I noticed a small rip near the lower area of the zipper, then the same day I got into a taxi and tried shuffling to the other seat and just ripped the pants fully. This is the first time pants have ever ripped on me like this so I don't think it's that I did anything wrong. What did help is that this happened right next to a kindergarten so my life was on the line trying to cover my exposed underwear. Any idea if I can get a refund by sending a ticket or should I just go to the grandma to sew it.
