Trimmed my own beard for the first time

Last 2 pictures is what i’m trying to go for (was last summer) Trimmed my own beard and sides of my hair for the first time (pic1+2) Still learning, cut myself a bit😅 It is hard, especially the hair. Also figuring out what kind of guards to use to trim the sides the length i want for the beard. If anyone has any tips, feel free to share! I try to recreate the last picture, if you have any tips what needs to change from pic1+2 to be more accurate pls let me know aswell🙏🏻
