Debating going back on the pill

I was on bc pill for about 3 years when I stopped back in February. Since then I have felt so out of wack, just feeling depressed and a little numb, still not 100% sure what’s going on but I feel like it’s my hormones? I felt good on the pill and had almost no issues, but wanted to stop as I wanted to give my body a break and get back into a normal cycle. I had really low libido while on the pill which was frustrating so coming off seemed like a good change.

I’m in a long-term relationship with my boyfriend and since coming off the pill it’s been hard to use condoms as we became so used to not using them, but we’re getting more and more nervous about getting pregnant.

I’m not opposed to an IUD but I think I would rather just go back on the pill, as I am afraid of the pain during insertion/removal.

Wondering if anyone has any experience going back on the pill or if you really love the IUD I’d like to hear your thoughts!!
