BWT and thick ankles, where are you getting booties?

I’m on a desperate hunt for booties. I ordered this pair from Thursday, but the calf opening is just SO tight. Like, I don’t think breaking them in will help at all. I’m so disappointed.

I have a pair from Franco Sarto I bought a couple years ago that triggered this search. They are also JUST too tight in the ankle and wildly comfortable to walk in for any amount of time.

I’m just struggling. I love this style. Clean and classic. I don’t want a super high heel (2” is perfect) and I like a pointed toe, but square toe is so much more common these days it seems. They also need to be comfortable, as I’m fed up with the suffering.
