Blood pressure 144/97 (ER Visit?)

I’ve been having odd experiences for a few months now—waking up out of bed with heart racing and my arm numb (this has a happened twice.) Most recently, I’ve been having twitching muscles and pain on my left side (above ear, near ankle and bicep.)

I went to the ER three times and they ruled out heart concerns and blood clots. My GP has tested my thyroid and for autoimmune conditions. It all comes back normal. The one thing that has been abnormal consistently is my blood pressure which hovers 130/85 on a good day.

Well, today was a bad day. After eating, I felt my heart rate picking up and the pain on my left side. I waited a few hours then noticed my eyes were bloodshot. I hurried to CVS to buy a digital cuff and it read that my BP was 144/97 (this is lower, I think, than when I had the onset of the symptoms.)

First, should I get myself to the ER? Second, could this be the culprit behind the previous incidents?
