I believe the negativity, and assumed unappreciation towards the leaderboard update is being misconstrued

For reference post update I’m rank 21 , and can name all anonymous players ahead of of me, and have knew the few that where never opted in even before update, and I’m sure all other top players could do the same.

The thing is this leaderboard update is t for us total lvl people, we are a year away from maxing as well as 500 rushing coming I to the mix

This update was for people trying to compete to be forever on the front page of a skill, (I’ve had many friends want to quit thinking there were outed out people and front of them and they’d be bumped out of their rank 18) it’s for people competing for max episodes lvls now that some are getting close, people considering racing for max combat with new update on the horizon

The top page will have a forever moving goal line, and I know quite a few of them personally and haven’t heard anything negative about the update, I can see how it was perceived that way

I’m sure most opted out in the originally protest, not for them, but for their friends that got sniped out of 500 ranks, but they are now choosing to remain opted out, not for a competitive advantage (because with the awesome update they will still be seen as anonymous, but just to be able to grind in peace, because I’m sure they are constantly being harassed for having no life or being a bot, and they would just not rather deal with it)

I haven’t heard one complaint about this update yet, besides the community assuming the top player base are cry babies and entitled.

People may think this was only for the top 1% but I have many friends that can’t compete with the top do to lives, jobs and things like that, but everyone sets their own goals, whether a top 20, top 100 or even just top 1k in something

This update is perfect balance of having a true ranking system while adhering to the privacy laws, the only backlash is the community assuming players are being entitled and unappreciated which I know isn’t the case
