What literally comes with the base game?

I'm pretty new here. Never played DD1. When you buy the base version of Dear Days 2, literally what cards can you play with? I presume they give you a starter deck, but I know DD1 had a TON of DLC, a lot of which was the individual card sets.

Do you need to buy the DLC to play with cards outside the base sets? Or can you use the in-game points to buy any single/pack you want? Does the DLC just shortcut the grinding and give you a playset of everything in that expansion?

I'm considering buying DD2, mostly as a testing/practice platform. I don't mind grinding out in-game currency; is DD2 a viable platform for this.
