Is Auto Mechanics/Technology the correct career path?
Hello,
I'm currently thinking of going back to school to obtain a certificate in automotive technology in my local community college. My family has always had a passion for auto mechanics, so I have helped my father and relatives with small tasks.
I mainly want to focus on the analysis of the vehicle's ecu to find any problems with them, and in the near future, performing modifications on them. I will also want to study to perform more complicated procedures such as engine reconstruction, suspension work, etc.
Would auto technology be the correct program for me if I want to focus in the analysis of vehicle's ecu(s) and tuning (modifying)?
Please let me if you have any suggestions or recommendations.
