First crack at restoring cast iron

My mom gave me these two old pieces of cast iron, so I was really excited to take a shot at restoration.

The skillet is from the late 80s or early 90s

The breakfast griddle belonged to my grandpa and is an old BSR no. 11 from the 70’s

I’m really happy with now they came out for my first time!

I used baking soda and vinegar (and a lot of scrubbing) to strip, and canola oil on both and a combination of oven/stovetop seasoning.
