Help me plan a pizza tour
I am taking out-of-town guests around to try 3-5 pizza places in one day. They generally prefer thin crust (NY, neapolitan, would probably also like tavern style) but also want to try deep dish, Detroit, and pan (I realize not all of this is possible in 3-5 places but these are the varieties we are open to). I'd like the places to be semi-spread out so we can digest between pizzas. It would be good if some are slice places so we don't get full too quick. I'm not asking anyone to plan out the route for me, but what would be your top spots for this kind of thing? As reddit tax I will share our final route and reviews afterwards!
EDIT - thank you for the responses!! based on your input, this is my planned route - would appreciate feedback! Considerations are (1) quality of pizza, (2) variety of styles, (3) distance (opting for MORE distance - I want this to take up most of the day and showcase different neighborhoods) - planning on basically a large oval route. we will be driving:
Vito & Nick's
Pequod's
Spacca Napoli (do I need a reservation for a weekday?)
Paulie Gee's (Wicker Park)
