"Best" PL lens kit for ~$35-40k
Hey team,
I'm looking to start building out a serious kit as my business begins doing more commercial and higher-end corporate work. I'm trying to stick with a PL mount lens system because every camera I can upgrade to or rent either has a PL mount or has a PL mount lens adapter available.
Because camera bodies change with such frequency (with some exceptions) I figured I'd be able to get a better ROI on some nice cinema glass that I could potentially rent out - and if I ever decide to upgrade them after 5-10 years they'll depreciate a lot less than a camera body.
I'm looking to stay away from anamorphics (for now) because of the work I primarily do. Ideally, I'd like full-frame coverage and would love a ~24mm, ~50mm, ~85mm, ~100mm, and ~135mm in the kit.
Any recommendations would be amazing!
Thank you so much for your help =)
Edit:
Thank you so much for all of your awesome feedback!
I ended up getting Tokina Vista Primes (18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm)
Looking forward to getting them and putting them through their paces =)
