waiting to have sex

i got a circumcision to relieve a tight foreskin about a week ago (week ago)

they said no sex or masturbation for 6 weeks

healing and everything is going well but im gonna keep it real, im dying here

i have constant erections throughout the day, and am having trouble falling asleep, waking up extremely hard

im used to having sex with my girlfriend on a regular basis, or if shes not around jerking off on the phone with her before bed

does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this because at this point i feel like the constant hardness is maybe worse for my healing than just letting loose

update: i tried gently rubbing the head to get some relief but i actually cant even cum because of changes in sensitivity. at least, not with a gentle touch. so im just going to do the responsible thing and leave it alone now. i appreciate all the comments!
