An arc I wish we'd had

The Clone Wars is an amazing show that does a lot of things right, but one of the few criticisms I have of it is that it treats the CIS as over-the-top comically evil. It does little to depict why its soldiers and citizens supported it. The closest we get is the "Heroes on Both Sides" arc in Season 3, but that arc is about a Separatist senator and not an average Separatist soldier or citizen.

I think it would have been really interesting to have an arc centered around a unit of human soldiers fighting for the CIS. The arc would tell us their names and give them understandable reasons for fighting and positive qualities. As per the nature of war, most if not all would be killed by the end of it to symbolize the tragic and pointless nature of the Clone Wars (the conflict, not the show).

What do you all think of this?
