Small gestures from families remind me why I became a CNA🥹

I was having a really hard day today and I it made me start thinking “am I really making a difference in my residents lives?” I always feel like I’m not doing enough because of all the angry family members and residents I deal with on a day to day basis but then one of my residents daughter gave me this small box of chocolates and as dumb as it sounds it reminded me that I am making a positive impact after all. I’ve never had such a big smile on my face😊
