Getting 500mbps when I have 1Gig

As the title states, I recently purchased fiber internet with Frontier in my new home and just set up my new router with it (ASUS RT-AX82U). Like the title states, the speed should be about 1gig.

I also just purchased a brand new 50ft Cat6 ethernet cable to hardware my PC, however I am only getting about 500mbps, which is very similar to what I am getting over wifi.

The issue is, I know it is a problem with my PC, I just don't know what the exact issue is. I have already checked the cable to make sure its good (my fiance's PC gets the full 1gig when using the new cable).

Some things I have already tried but haven't worked:

  • Running this command in CMD - netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
  • Used the TCP Optimizer tool
  • Disabled all energy saving properties, as well as Large Offload properties.
  • Updating my Realtek network drivers.
  • Checking my BIOS to make sure nothing is bottle necked.
  • I confirmed that the Ethernet port speed is on 1gig:

  • Switched Speed & Duplex Property to 1gig from Auto negotation

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure what else I can do in order to resolve the issue.

Once other thing to note is that I am on Windows 10 and my fiance is on windows 11, however we both use Realtek Drivers.
