[No Spoilers] Has it been confirmed there was no session 0 in C3?

When critiquing C3 a point brought up often is how "there was no session 0" or that they should have had one. While I agree to me there is a disconnect of themes and characters, has it ever been confirmed there was none? Considering how important safety and tools are to CR, it would surprise me if they hadn't done one? Is this a case of community speculations turning into perceived truth?
