CC Debt Free
It’s been a long road with a lot of sacrifice, but it’s finally done. The nail in the coffin. I made my LAST payment towards my final credit card today. 27k of total credit card debt across multiple cards has been lifted off my shoulders.
When I started my payoff journey in April 2023, the sheer amount seemed impossible to overcome on a 40k-43k/year income. In the beginning, my progress was so slow. Many nights I wanted to give up. But here I am, better than ever and working towards a future where I can be financially sound. I survived a divorce that (figuratively and quite literally) broke me, got rid of toxic people in my life, and stuck to the plan of paying it all off by the end of 2024. All those hours of overtime, all those nights of staying home when everyone else was out having fun, it all paid off. I cried with happiness driving home today.
I still have my car loans and student loans, but I have to remind myself that I have to take it one step at a time. Tackling my car payoff next. I’m so, so proud of myself. Just wanted to share positivity, and that it IS possible. Can’t wait to start the new year THOUSANDS of pounds lighter. 💕
