What is going on with the dawning ???

Ok so I know that there are a lot of glitches already with the dawning but I’ve come across another glitch so I wanted to unlock the stay frosty pulse rifle so I did the challenge in the event card but when I go to focus the weapon I can’t focus it the game says I need to acquire it meanwhile I’ve already unlocked it through the challenge bungie I think you need to cancel this even the bugs are unreal
