How do you feel about e-ink phones?

I get the feeling that most people in here don’t see the value in e-ink. I feel like it makes perfect sense for dumb phones, considering that you’ll only be using them for calls and text. You’d be missing out on a whole lotta blue light. They’re completely visible in the sun; something that pisses me off about cheap LCD screens. They draw less energy as well, which can lead to smaller batteries and therefore less environmental impact.

Missing out on MMS is a valid reason, but the technology is developing and I believe it will get there. Besides, you can still send pictures, videos, or any other type of media over email.

E-ink phones are more expensive, but the difference is worth it to me. And again, it’s a new technology. I’m sure it will get cheaper over time.

This is a bit ranty. I just love e-ink and wish it was more popular.
