I think my bike is illegal now

I just started looking this this thread a few days ago and it led me to the new California laws regarding eBikes. I built mine about 4 years ago and used it to commute to work for a summer, as well as just looking around.

It's a Giant composite hardtail 29er. 1000 watt bafang mid drive. It's top speed with assist is 45 mph.

I was just about to start riding again when I saw the new laws. Anyone else have a frankenbike? Donyou ride it? Have you been pulled over?
