Vanmoof in Rain

I recently purchased one of the “outlet” model Vanmoof Electrified S bikes which is essentially last years model at a huge discount. Guess they’re trying to clear inventory for the new model. Anyway, I’m super happy with it, my commute time is about half what it would be on the subway (NYC).

My question is, does anyone have any solid experience with it in heavy rain? I have to park on the street outside my office, so on a rainy day it wouldn’t only get ridden in the rain but it would sit all day in the rain. Would this do any damage to the bike?
