Do I need to worry about Ecoboom?
I just bought a 2016 Eco Premium with 51k from Carvana. It’s been great for the month I’ve owned it. I researched a bit before I bought it and almost bought a 2020 but it was a convertible. In fact, everything in the year range above 2020 available through Carvana was a drop top (in my budget) and I didn’t want the drop top. I looked under the hood and see the fuel sensor is the old part, so I’m planning to replace it. I have a 5 year warranty for engine/drivetrain/transmission through Carvana. If it does go boom, I hope they will replace. Should I worry? I don’t rag the car and I’m planning on babying it.
