How do I keep Elementor global background image on pages, but remove it from posts?

I am using Elementor (free, not pro), and have a background image configured in the Global Settings. This is fine for the primary website pages, but is causing problems for non-Elementor posts (even though Posts are not included in Elementor's Post Types Setting). Is there a way to keep Pages using Elementor and its global background image, and Posts using WordPress only?
