How many playthroughs have you done?
By which I mean getting to the credits at the end of the game.
I've done three: the first as a stealth archer, the second as an elementalist, and the third as a warrior. I tried and failed to romance Calia (wrong dialogue choices on the airship), then successfully romanced Calia, then romanced Jespar. In all three playthroughs, I completed almost all 'narrative' side quests, but did not bother completing the 'Easter egg' quests like finding all the magical symbols.
I love this game and would wholeheartedly recommend it, but I consider myself pretty much done with it.
