MiiCoffee grinder

I got a full refund for my MiiCoffee grinder today DF64 II today. I bought it on Amazon like 6 months ago from a distributor in Singapore. Seemed legit when it arrived and it works like a charm. The email Amazon sent me suggested to discard the item completely but don’t mention why. Im assuming because it’s from a third party and they are unsure if it’s real?
I’m tempted to keep it and just chalk it up to a free grinder though because I love it and I have 0 complaints, fake or not lol. Thoughts?
