Upgrade from an Ambient Espresso Vesuvius (pressure profiling e61)
I've owned this machine for a few years now, and it's going strong (it's v2 and other than a pump magnet that needed replacing, it's been issue-free). It makes great shots and I enjoy the pressure profiling abilities. My default shot profile tries to mimic a lever with pre infusion.
That said, I'm starting to get an itch to upgrade something a bit more solid (not an e61) that still features some pre-infusion capabilities. It also needs to be able to run off of a tank.
The only machines I've found so far are the Rocket R Nine One, but this one doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, and the LM GS3 (MP if I want pre infusion). Does anyone have other suggestions? Budget is under $10k.
