ELI5: why would a conductor loop accelerating thru the middle of a uniform magnetic field cause a magnetic flux?

Hi all;

why would a conductor loop accelerating thru the middle of a uniform magnetic field cause a magnetic flux?

I don’t see how the velocity changing would change the magnetic flux.
