Ranking obsession is driving my head in.

I'm becoming increasingly exhausted with everyones obsession of perfectly ranking everything in order all of the time. Always getting so bent out of shape over someone putting things in a different order than they think they should be in. It's an insanely misguided way to measure artistic value. It's so subjective. "Whats better Ziggy Stardust or Dark Star" One or the other or neither or both, whatever, it depends who you are, what your favourite band was when your were 15, what day of the week it is and how recently your girlfriend broke up with you. Try to interrogate why something resonated with you, not what number of "resonates with me points" did this piece of art have, objectively. Trying to force criticism and discussion it into a linear shape is so stupid and frustrating.
