What's your ranking red flag?

I scour the rankings for book recommendations. I have some immediate disqualifications on if I will use a ranking tho.

For example if you have Villians and Virtues too low on your list or DNF. Disqualified. If you have Elven Days of Christmas in a high spot that will help you. There are a bunch of others but A.K. Caggiano is an author i look out for.

Also there are books if you have too high on your list I'll disqualify because we clearly have different tastes. For me personally, I liked Bride but didn't find it to be my book of the year. While it being a 5 star wouldn't necessarily disqualify someone's rankings to me, a mixture of it being at the top of a list with my favorites at the bottom would.

What books are your red flag for if you'll use someone's rankings as a recommendation list??
