Recommend Some Names for my Capital City!
So in my story I'm trying to make, there is a kingdom called Dawntrim, and its capital city is one of the most famous in the world. It is within an immensely strategic location: being surrounded by high mountains called the Mistveil Highlands and those encircling mountains are surrounded by a natural moat of water. And underneath the city is a vast array of ores and materials. The rich and prosperous capital city has lived through the ages, even being under the regime of different kingdoms/empires. But I can't think of a name. Here is some names I came up with, but I would like if yall came up with some as well:
- Mistveil City (named after their protecting mountains)
- Dawntrim Central
- COTH City (Capital Of The Highlands)
These names are great, and I have tried to pick one and I have tried researching some non-English words for certain stuff to construct a name, but I couldn't. So I would really appreciate it if y'all suggested some names that might be better than those three.
