Is nuking Whitesprings taboo?

When the game launched, Whitesprings used to be the place to nuke to farm mats for crafting flux.

I took a fairly long break from the game and now that I'm back into it, it seems to be the most popular build spot.

Also seems people get upset if I launch a nuke and don't spawn one of the bosses with it.

Just wondering what the community has to say.
