Getting back into my Childhood Hobby - What Hobby Boxes should I be targeting?

I know hockey a little bit better than football as far as cards go. For those of you who are into both like me. Young Guns are pretty much the most popular rookie cards to go after. I was told the Optic Hobby box was one of the better boxes to go after. The re-sale value doesn't look great though. Like a 2020 Justin Jefferson standard rated rookie at PSA 10 might go for $50ish on eBay. Meanwhile a Connor Bedard PSA 10 Young Gun is going to 1K? Trying to navigate where I should be investing my money for football cards.

Basically, I'm trying to sell what I don't want to make it easier financially to enjoy the hobby and buy more Hobby Boxes. I pulled some good rated rookies in the 2023 box like Bijan, Gibbs, Flowers, Reed etc. But I can't justify spending $850 on a box... I can justify spending $265 on a Hockey Hobby Box because you can get a decent amount of value back. Thanks for helping out this newb in advance!
