Can I skip A Soul of Ash & Blood?

Basically the title! I’ve heard that it’s basically a retelling of FBAA but from Casteels POV. If that’s the case, can I just move on to book 6 without missing any new context? I don’t want to buy the book if I’m just going to get Cas’ POV bc I HATE cliffhangers and need to know what happens next lol!!! I’ve heard mixed opinions on this and would love some clear insight! Thank you!!!
