Did Wolfgang Münchau's book 'Kaput' make any difference in how politicians see the German crisis?

I've read Kaput, I follow the news and have paid attention over the last 15 years. I have to say I agree with his analysis that Germany is trying to keep alive a business model from the 20th century (manufacturing) and ignores every single trend in the 21st: batteries, e-cars, internet, smartphones, AI.

From what I understand Wolfgang Münchau has a good reputation as an economist/journalist in Germany. Still I'm under the impression nobody in the political spheres is addressing the problems he talks about. What's your take? Anyone you read seems to be aware and proposing solutions? Because I see absolutely noone, and that is very surprising!
