I love them so much but…
I see the “in memory” posts and they hit me hard every time especially the young ones. Mine are young and I know that we should have many years left with them barring something unusual happening but it guts me. It never helps when people mention their “short life span” to me nearly every encounter. These are my first two dogs and I truly love them like my human kid. Now, I’m a paramedic and nurse so I know that we can do everything right and still have a poor outcome but my anxiety over losing these two is just overwhelming sometimes. Can you guys share some stories of your Danes growing to a ripe old age?
