Are IEMs really better than normal earphones...

I purchased these MI earphones from amazon few months back and they work just fine. I have a sony xm4 and they work amazing, and I use these earphones for playing games and attending work calls on laptop. Should I get IEMs? Are they worth the money I spend on it....

Ps: I can only spend like 2k on them... So if you think they're worth it then can you suggest me few good ones pls 🙏🏻
