Let me place turrets!

Please Arrowhead, give us an option to place the turret pokeball gently on the ground. I have lost count the number of times the turrets has bounced off of Helmsdeep and landed outside the wall. Or, I jump pack up to an elevated position to get a field of fire on my anti-tank turret and the ball bounces higher than an overinflated ball. Please, please, please, let me just put it on the ground, where I want it.
