How to Play with Lower Ranked Friends? Help

So, after 6 years of inactivity, I played the placement matches, and the game decided that im Diamond. I installed the game to play with friends, but they were placed in Bronze and Silver. What am I supposed to do? Troll games until I drop to Platinum? What else can I do? Any tips? Thanks
