Did you use your homelab experience to get a better job?

I’m looking to switch jobs and I’m really interested in cloud because of my interest in self hosting and homelab. I was just wondering if anyone here used their homelab experience to break into this domain or something similar.

Edit: I see a lot of people did successfully use their experience to land a job. Did makes me wonder: a) did you add your homelab experience in your resume? b) which industries you focused on for your job hunting networking efforts?
