10 years in solitary confinement with one offline video game
You’re going to be locked away in solitary confinement for the next 10 years.
You’re allowed to bring one video game (including any DLC) and are provided with hardware built to exclusively play this game at maximum settings.
The game must be offline and as it was released by the developer (so no modding or multiplayer).
You’ve got all the facilities to meet your basic needs, but no other forms of entertainment or human contact.
What’s your pick and why?
Edit: As most have figured out, there’s no upside to this one. It’s all about trying to maintain some sense of humanity as you descend into madness. Noticing some interesting genre themes around maximising: variation (e.g. strategy), creativity (e.g. sandbox), or social contact (e.g RPGs). I wonder who lasts the longest?
