Belly band/hysterectomy pillows?

I am getting my hysterectomy in 2 weeks. I’ve seen some people post about belly bands and hysterectomy pillows. How helpful are these? I’d like to note that I live in a very small apartment and do not own a recliner so I will either be in bed or on the couch the whole time. Would either a belly band or hysterectomy pillow help?
