N-600K questions
Asking Reddit, as I am finding it impossible to get a USCIS agent on the phone. I submitted the application (N-600K, NOT N-600, despite the flair) for an infant a few weeks ago and I'm trying to get it processed on an expedited basis.
- How do I know which office is assigned my application? The receipt notice shows:
National Benefits Center
U.S. CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION SVC
P.O. BOX 25920
Overland Park KS 66225
Can the processing office be different from the office where I attend the interview? i.e. I want the fastest office to process it, but I want to attend the closest office for the interview.
Is there anyway to get a SSN for a child, who lives abroad, before the N-600k is processed? (wish to claim child as a dependant on parent's US tax return).
Thank you.
