2024 saw a 60% year-over-year decrease in youth homicides in Indianapolis. Massive congrats to all involved!

Dropping of the youth homicide rates accounts for the entirety of the overall homicide rate drop in 2024. A huge win for the city and all the organizations that helped in the goal of reducing this number. The only acceptable number is 0 so we have work to do, but a 60% decrease is incredible. Great work!
