Appreciation Post for BMW Service Centre in Thane - Long post
Last Wednesday, my bike suddenly died as I parked at work. Thinking it was a one-time glitch, I headed inside. Unfortunately, when I tried to start it that evening, it wouldn't budge—even after a push start. I had to leave it behind and head home.
The next day, I contacted the service centre for advice on getting my bike there. The rep mentioned they might send someone, but with Diwali in full swing, it could be tricky. So, I called Roadside Assistance, and they were fantastic—within an hour, I was at the service centre with my bike.
When I arrived, the place was buzzing with activity, but the representative who helped me stayed back from lunch to start diagnosing my bike. I had to leave for work, but he promised to call me once they figured out the issue.
To my surprise, the following Friday morning, I got a call saying my bike was ready! I was worried about the cost, especially being a BMW owner and not received the quotation. When I arrived, I learned that the engine sensor had been damaged and needed replacement. I accepted this as my own oversight as I had seen it carcked but ignored it as it didn't affect the ride.
Here’s the kicker: when I asked for the bill, the rep said, “Nothing needs to be paid; it’s covered under warranty.” I was in disbelief—no labor charges either! My experience with Royal Enfield has been quite different, so this level of service was refreshing.
The whole process, from my initial call to picking up my bike, was incredibly professional, especially during such a busy season. 11/10 The brand experience truly makes it worth it. Highly recommend the BMW service centre in Thane!
Here’s a photo of my bike at the centre, surrounded by others waiting for service.
