Is it possible to duo alter door bandos method?

Hello, new to this sub!

I've been looking and I can't seem to find any information about this. Me and my group IM friend are struggling to get good kc at bandos using the traditional tank/dps method as our gear isn't really BIS. I was looking into guides and saw the alter door method I was just wondering if a strat like this would work in a duo.
