Dog training for bloodhound

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice or recommendations for training for my mom’s bloodhound. Lately, he’s been acting out—getting onto counters, escaping the yard, and grabbing things he shouldn’t. When we try to take them away, he’ll run to his crate and growl. Our last bloodhound was a girl and we did not have these issues.

Does anyone have a trainer they recommend that has experience with this breed or know a trainer who’s great with these kinds of issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
